What is Kids Club?

Kids Club is an introductory climbing program that runs for the duration of the school term, meeting once weekly. Term 2 2024 dates:

• Mondays Class (4:00pm - 5:30pm) - Beginning April 29th*

• Wednesday Class (4:00pm - 5:30pm) - Beginning May 1st

• Friday Class (4:30pm - 6:00pm) - Beginning May 3rd

*Monday class will start on the 29th (School Holidays) to account for the Kings Birthday Public Holiday (June 10th).

Kids will be split off into assigned groups by age, working alongside a dedicated belayer for the whole term who encourages and aids each climber through various disciplines in climbing.

The aim of the program is to help kids increase their level and skills by learning new climbing techniques, goal setting & team work principles.

Do you require any experience to join Kids Club?

Not at all! Kids club is the perfect place for beginners to get into climbing!

How old does my child need to be in order to join Kids Club

Kids Club is for kids aged between 8-12 years old.

How much is kids club? 

Kids club is $199 for the school term, inclusive of harness hire.

Am I able to use an Active Kids Voucher?

Absolutely, you will just need to enter the voucher number and expiry date on the intake form where applicable. First, you must click ‘Redeem Coupon’ in the booking form below and enter code “ACTIVEKIDS” to apply value of the voucher before continuing on.

Please note: Vouchers also cannot be applied once payment has been finalised and that Active Kids Vouchers cannot be applied to bookings after 4pm 31/01/2024.

How do I sign my child up for Kids Club

Simply book online below and fill out all questions as required! Don’t forget, if you’re using an Active Kids voucher, please click ‘Redeem Coupon’ and follow instructions above.

Spaces are limited to 16 kids per session. Max spaces per booking request is 1, so if you are enrolling more than 1 child, you will need to complete additional booking requests. Once you have made your booking request, a space will be held for you.

Booking Policy: Bookings for this class are non-refundable. If you are unsure if Kids Club is the right choice for your child, we recommend for your child to come along for a casual visit before booking the class.

Please note, make up sessions are not possible due to staffing constraints.

What should my child wear to rock climbing?

Comfortable exercise clothes (no skirts/dresses) and runners/sneakers. Bringing along a water bottle is also recommended.
