NBRH Youth Invitational Squads

What is Squads?

One of our longest running youth programs, Squads is an excellent way for our young climbers to further develop and refine their climbing abilities. The program is made up of a Junior and a Senior group, who train twice weekly under the guidance of several highly experienced trainers and long term NBRH staff members, with teaching focused on personal development in climbing as well as advanced technique in all disciplines and competition prep.

Due to the higher intensity of the program, the age bracket is 10 - 18 years old and it is best suited to climbers who are already climbing medium - hard grades with confidence. Squads is invitational based which means climbers can come along to a ‘trial’ session during one of the regular Squads sessions to feel it out and make sure it’s the right fit for them. If Squads is suitable for your child, we then recommend either Junior or Senior based on ability level. We always love seeing young climbers give the challenge a go and so welcome all to try out!

Timing:

Junior Squads runs during the school term on Monday from 4pm - 6pm and Thursday from 4pm - 5:30pm.

Senior Squads runs during the school term on Tuesday from 4pm - 6pm and Thursday from 5:30pm - 7pm.

Pricing:

Squad fees for the term are $300, which includes entry to the gym during Squad sessions twice a week. The fees do not include Hire Gear.
